KROGER CARD PROGRAM

What is the Kroger card program?

The Kroger Card Program is a fundraising program at our school that costs nothing, absolutely no money, to support.

How does it work?
Our school purchases Kroger Cards worth $5.00 each. You, as a supporter of our schools, purchase a Kroger Card to use. Do not throw the card away as it can be reloaded for any amount up to $500. Every time you reload the card, 4% is given back to the schools. If you reload your card for $100, our school gets $4. It’s money you would spend anyway, but with this program our schools benefit.

Where can I purchase a Kroger card for our schools?
We periodically sell cards after Mass but you can also purchase them through the Development office at the Catholic Community Center or by calling our Kroger card coordinator, Patti Grote at 273-5835.

Where can I use the Kroger card?
The Kroger card can be used at any Kroger store anywhere as well as Kroger gas stations. It can also be used at Jay-C stores. The back of the card lists all the places that the Kroger Card is accepted.

Where does the money from the Kroger card go?

Money from the Kroger Card goes directly towards the schools’ yearly budget. Last year the Kroger Card Program generated $8000 for our schools.

What is the potential of the Kroger card program?

The more people that use this program the larger the potential for our school. Since this is money that is already being spent, it shouldn’t be hard to ask aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends of the school children to support this program. We can definitely take this program further. If we reach out to 300 families (roughly what we have in our parish) and each family spends $100 a week on groceries using the Kroger Card, we would make $62,400 for our schools in one year!

This is a great program for our schools!
Please help us get the word out to
families and friends!
