The Rev. Chris Craig hadn't lived in Madison since he graduated from Shawe Memorial in 1983. Now the product of Prince of Peace Catholic Schools is at the helm of the district and says it feels like he never left.
Craig, a Madison native who has been ordained for 18 years, was assigned from Shelbyville to the parish in July. He succeeded the Rev. John Meyer, who left the parish this summer after 21 years when he was appointed to a parish in Greensburg. Craig is on a six-year assignment from the archbishop of Indianapolis.
