A child MUST be kept home 24 hours after vomiting or diarrhea.
Any contagious disease must be reported to the Director so parents can be informed. All illnesses, allergies, or dietary problems should be reported to the Director in writing.
All participants in the Preschool/Daycare Program must be potty trained. Diapers or pull-ups are not permitted. See the Director if there is a special circumstance, such as a medical problem.

Child Drop Off and Pick Up:
When someone other than the parent will be picking up your child, please verbally or by written consent, let the teacher know. List any and all individuals authorized to transport your child on your child's application. Please ask your child's teacher to add additional names throughout the year if need be. This is for Your Child's Safety!
Arrival and Departure:
Please leave your child only after making sure that a responsible adult is aware of your child's presence. Please sign in. It is equally important to make sure the teacher knows when your child is picked up. Check cubbies and clips for important information and then sign out. Informal conversations are invaluable, but for the effectiveness of the program, please schedule a conference if you need the teacher's undivided attention. Be prompt bringing your child to school on their instructional days. It is also very important to be punctual in picking your child up.
Changes:
If your address, phone number, place of employment or persons authorized to pick up your child changes, PLEASE notify the Director in writing immediately. If you are leaving town, please leave names and numbers we can call in case of an emergency. These are often overlooked but very important pieces of information.
Grouping
The children will be grouped according to age. The state of Indiana requires a child to be five years old by July 1, prior to enrollment in kindergarten. Therefore, we require a child to be four by July 1, for enrollment in the four year old class and three by July 1, for enrollment in the three year old class.
