We welcome you and your child to Pope John Preschool/Daycare. Our program is conducted within Pope John Elementary School. The purpose of the program is to provide an enriching early learning atmosphere, which instills in the children a basic interest, curiosity, and love for learning. Our program is a building block for formal education by easing the transition and eliminating the fears of continuing education.

The Preschool Program is based on the concept of: Learn Through Play. Play is the heart of the Preschool curriculum. With the play activities the children are developing a tremendous amount of basic information. Learning for the Preschooler is moving, doing, experiencing, observing, talking, and exploring. They are broadening their concepts and mastering the problems of their environment. In other words, Play is the Preschooler's Work. Therefore, all of their play experiences will help serve as the foundation for later learning.
